Palisaide Blues

Palisaide Head is a wonderful bluff above the northern shore of Lake Superior. Rappelers see the beauty of the rock and the lake but the pleasure of the blueberries hidden in the pines is worth a different adventure.

This 23" x 19" watercolour is painted with permanent pigment on 140 lb Arches cold pressed paper for artist quality long life and beauty.

Roaring Spring

Minnesota's north shore of Lake Superior is fed by roaring waterfalls each spring. The volume of sound and water can almost be heard in this painting.

It is transparent mixed media (watercolour and ink) on Yupo.

Determined Pine

This 17" x 20" watercolor painting is done on Yupo for an almost calligraphic look. It is now on Display at Banfill Locke in Fridley, MN at the Atrist del Norte Spring juried art show where it won first place in the transparent watercolor category.
